The Hi-Lok fastening system combines the best features of a rivet and a bolt to create a high strength fastener with a one-sided installation, and light weight. Hi-Lok pins are inserted through the hole in the parent material, and the collar is installed onto the threaded end. The collar has an auto torque-off feature that causes the wrenching element to separate at a pre-determined torque level, leaving the collar permanently attached.
