Nortrhop acquired the 12 ft winspan low acoustic UAV from Swift Engineering in 2009 and completing its test flights in preparation to be deployed in the active arena. The BAT is able to takeoff and land independent of runways and hover over 24hrs on location. These BATS will deployed in irregular warfare situations most likely by Marine personnel. Jet-Tek is excited to be involved in the continuing and R&D and manufacturing stages of this program.
